Driving institute Joop Hagen is proud to offer driving lessons in the English language.

If you need to train for your exam for your Dutch driving licence, you are more than welcome at Joop Hagen. Our instructors literally speak your language!First things first, you need to deal with theory. You can take your exam in the English language at the CBR institute. You can take the regular theory-exam in English, in the general exam room on a touchscreen. It takes a maximum of  30 minutes.

In this English theory-exam there will be a couple of Dutch words, you need to recognise. And you need to know what regulations can or will follow when you see the Dutch words. The exam institute therefore does not translate specific words, as they are used in Dutch as extra information e.g. under road signes like APK • autoweg(en) • brommobiel • erf • snorfiets.
